Apple Digital Slave iPhone User – Telegram founder Pavel Durov outspokenly scoffs at the iPhone as a medieval cellphone. In fact, he called iPhone users as Apple’s digital slaves.

This comment was made in response to media reports The New York Times highlighting the relationship between Apple and China. He also disclosed the relationship between Apple and China regarding involvement in large-scale surveillance and censorship at the behest of China.

“Apple is very efficient in pursuing their business model, which is based on selling outdated hardware that is too expensive to customers, which is locked in their ecosystem,” Durov wrote via the Telegram channel, quoted by India Today, Thursday (20/5/2021).

Regarding what he said about medieval cell phones, Durov admitted that Apple’s technology was very far behind Android. This is because this device does not yet have a screen with a 120Hz refresh rate like Android.

“Every time I have to use an iPhone to test our iOS app, I feel like I’m being thrown back to the Middle Ages. The 60Hz iPhone screen can’t compete with the 120Hz screen of modern Android smartphones that support much smoother animation,” he added.

In addition, Durov admits that Apple devices are more clumsy because they use outdated hardware. The Tim Cook company is also said to be making Apple users into slaves because they are only allowed to install applications from the App Store.

“It’s no wonder that Apple’s totalitarian approach is highly valued by the Chinese Communist Party, where Apple now has complete control over the applications and data of all iPhone users,” he said.

On the other hand, Durov’s opinion is considered quite ironic. Because, Telegram was first present in the iOS application. The application only appeared for Android users in 2013.
