Cooperating with Mercedes-Benz, Michelin Presents 3 Series of Premium Vehicle Tires – Michelin presents three series of premium vehicle tires, namely Primacy 3 ZP, Latitude Sport 3 and Pilot Sport 4S. The three new tires were introduced on the sidelines of the 2021 Mercedes-AMG Track Day event which was held in Sentul, Bogor, West Java last week.

The three Michelin premium tire series are paired with two of the latest Mercedes-Benz AMG models, namely the entry-performance Mercedes-AMG A 35 4MATIC Hatchback and the Mercedes-AMG GLA 35.

The latest AMG models are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S and Michelin Latitude Sport 3 tires which offer optimal performance and were developed specifically for premium vehicle types.

“Michelin is very pleased and proud to be able to continue collaborating with Mercedes-Benz. All Michelin tires that we present at the 2021 Mercedes-AMG Track Day event are designed to support speed, as well as safety and comfort for drivers of premium vehicles,” said Steven Vette, President Director of Michelin Indonesia in a press release received Wednesday (13/10/2021).

The Michelin Primacy 3 ZP series tires are run flat tires (RFT) with the advantage that the tires can still be used at a certain speed and distance, even though the air pressure in the tires is no longer available (zero pressure).

Another feature is the special tread pattern on the tires to optimize grip on wet and dry road surfaces and shorten braking distances.

This combination makes the Primacy 3 ZP superior in handling, grip, and durability according to Mercedes-Benz standards and specifications.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires are designed so that the driver can continue to enjoy the best vehicle performance, according to engine performance and handling.

While the Michelin Latitude Sport 3 is a premium tire in the sports SUV type vehicle class. The Latitude Sport 3 series has the advantage of a shorter braking distance on the road and a more sporty driving environment.
