Suara.com – US Customs and Excise found cocaine mixed with breakfast cereal that was destined for Hong Kong.
Adapt The Guardian, Tuesday (22/2/2021) the discovery was revealed when a sniffer dog from a US customs agency sniffed out the presence of cocaine in frozen cereal.
The cocaine was found mixed with the cereal and looked like frozen sugar in the breakfast snack.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Bico, a US Customs and Border Protection narcotics detection dog, found the illicit item in cereal from South America destined for Hong Kong.

“Officers found the white powder and flakes coated with a grayish substance after the dogs were notified of the shipment,” the newspaper reported.
The value of these illicit goods is estimated at 2.8 million dollars or around Rp. 39.5 billion.
“The men and women at the Port of Cincinnati are committed to stopping the flow of dangerous drugs, and they continue to use their training, intuition, and strategic skills to prevent these types of illegal shipping from reaching the public.” explains Richard Gillespie, director of the Cincinnati port.
The mode of smuggling by mixing powdered cocaine into cereal is a fairly new and bold one.
Previously, it was found that the illegal items were smuggled using wigs, in pineapples that were perforated and some even pretended to be nuns.
