Viral Car Driver Called Runaway After Buying Gasoline Rp. 400,000, Chased by Gas Station Officers But Not Arrested

Suara.com – Social media is being stirred up with videos of speeding motorbikes chasing a silver Toyota Kijang car.

Based on the narration included in the upload, apparently the driver of the car was chased because it was suspected that he fled after buying fuel oil for a total of Rp. 400 thousand.

This chase is as seen on Instagram @palembang.tercidukwhich later went viral on several other accounts including Facebook @lambeonlen.

Allegedly this Kijang car filled up with 400 thousand petrol and didn’t pay (but didn’t pay),” write @palembang.tercidukas quoted Suara.com on Friday (11/3/2022).

This incident is said to have occurred at the Polygon gas station in Palembang, South Sumatra. The gas station officer immediately spurred on his motorbike to chase the driver of the car, but to no avail.

Throughout the video, you can hear the gas station attendant swearing due to the non-paying fuel buyer. “Hey! Pay you buy oil woi!‘ cried the gas station attendant.

There was a reply from the driver of the car, but it was not clear what he said. Unfortunately, their efforts to catch the driver of the car were unsuccessful.

This viral video immediately drew criticism from netizens for the irresponsible attitude of the car driver. They also suggested that the recorded car plates should be immediately reported to the authorities so that they would be investigated and given appropriate sanctions.
